The elaborate 3-dimensional regulator construction of the Paraiba with central minute, decentralized hour at 12 o'clock, as well as a circling crescent at 6 o'clock, allows deep insights into the mechanics of the regulator. The Open Gear Hypnotic truly mesmerizes with its hand-guilloché dial that magically changes colors from blue to violet. The combination of the soft & flowing guilloché pattern and the exposed raw mechanics instantly captivates the eye.

A hypnotising long-wave guilloché sets the scene on the metallic blue Open Gear ReSec Big Wave, a classically inclined modern mechanical timepiece that marries regulator and retrograde.

The multiple-layered regulator set-up is based on the principle of a hybrid dial, doubling up as a module plate holding the straight-grained bridges, screws and wheels of the automatic C.301 movement.
