In doing so, the Maison preserves the optimal proportions of its historical model with a 36.5 mm diameter and measuring only 8.2 mm thick. The new L.U.C 1860 Flying Tourbillon model is crafted in ethical 18-carat yellow gold and features an elegant hand-guilloché dial in 18-carat yellow gold. The transparent case-back enabling a view of its unique movement is protected by an elegant cover carefully engraved on the inside with a unique beehive motif. Chopard is the only Manufacture whose flying tourbillon watches are both chronometer-certified and bear the Poinçon de Genève quality hallmark: the L.U.C 1860 Flying Tourbillon model belongs to this category of rare timepieces. It is issued in an exclusive 10-piece limited series.
