The Excalibur Blacklight is inspired by the art world and reveals the innovation capacity of Roger Dubuis. During the day, colored sapphire micro-beams are spread inside the calibre, placed like rays of light going through the mechanism. At night and under UV light, the micro-beams are luminescent, like neon tubes glowing in a two faces sculpture revealing its full potential only under specific circumstances. Bringing together both art and innovation is what Roger Dubuis calls Art Technologies and allows the Geneva manufacture to offer exclusive watches in limited editions. Besides, the Excalibur Blacklight reflects the gender fluid approach of the designs created by Roger Dubuis in the world of Haute Horlogerie.
