The Excalibur Monobalancier features an MCF (mineral composite fiber) case. This new white material in watchmaking is light as a composite material (it is even 13% lighter than carbon) but is way more machinable than ceramic.
The MCF used on the watch has been specifically developed so the resin it contains will remain stable and the whiteness of the material will remain intact (high resistance to UV light).
